OUR BELIEFS
reAL cHURCH
The church is the people, the Body of Christ. It is made up of imperfect people who have placed their faith in Jesus. Together, we share the responsibility to love, serve, and share our lives with others while sharing the good news of Jesus with those who do not yet know him.
“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it." 1 Corinthians 12:27
reAL nEED
We have all failed God. It's called sin - whether through active rebellion or passive indifference. We are all guilty, separated from a Holy God.
“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard." Romans 3:23
reAL sALVATION
Through Jesus's death, God has provided a way for us, broken way to be made whole again. This is done privately by faith (believing that God has the power to save) and repentance (turning back to God, depending on Him, and allowing Him to direct our lives). At the same time we publicly confess our acceptance of Jesus as our Lord and Savior and submit ourselves to baptism.
"For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserve it, but because that was His plan from the beginning of time - to show us His grace through Christ Jesus." 2 Timothy 1:9
rEAL lOVE
We are created in the image of God. This means all of us have characteristics of God woven in and through us. Since God is love, we too are made to love. We are created to love emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
"God is love... and as we live in God, our love grows more perfect." 1 John 1:16B-17A
rEAL bIBLE
We believe the Bible was fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it was written without error in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16, 17
rEAL gOD
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the ruler over the entire universe. He is faithful. He is forgiving. He is unchanging. he cannot lie or break promises. He is love!

rEAL jESUS
We believe Jesus is God's son. He is both fully human and fully God. He lived a sinless life, healed people, spoke truth and loved people no one else would. He came to Earth to die so that we could live...forever. He rose from death and is alive now with God.
“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance; Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners -
of whom I am the worst." 1 Timothy 1:15
rEAL sPIRIT
God's spirit is His gift to us. The Holy Spirit dwells in those who have accepted Christ Jesus as their Lord and Savior. He comforts, convicts, teaches, guides, and empowers us.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses... to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8
